More British Poets

Meshworks at Miami of Ohio (admirably managed by Keith Tuma, cris cheek, Justin Katko, and Daniel Ereditario) has some video posted of the Oxford (OH) leg of the British poets’ US tour. (Said poets being Andrea Brady, Keston Sutherland, and Peter Manson, all featured in the British Poetry Issue of Chicago Review.)
They’ve also got video of Sean Bonney, Mairéad Byrne, Tom Leonard, Bernadette Mayer, Stephen Rodefer, and Tom Raworth. Plus, footage from the Contemporary Experimental Women’s Poetry Festival at Cambridge last year.

Tom Raworth will be awarded the Antonio Delfini lifetime achievement award at the San Carlo Foundation in Modena on June 23. Annie Dillard | The Maytrees


The Maytrees, Annie Dillard’s new novel, is out. An ever-expanding list of reviews follows. Annie read a passage of the novel for NPR and talked a little about the book (whose original subtitle was “A Romantic Comedy about Light Pollution”) in a Publishers Weekly interview. She did another interview with the Washington Post’s Daniel Asa Rose. A chapter of the book originally showed up as “The Two of Them” in the Nov ‘03 Harper’s.
