Robert P. Baird is the founder, editor, and found­ing editor of dig­i­tal emu­nc­tion.. Despite roots in North­ern Cal­i­for­nia and an abid­ing affec­tion for Chicago, he now lives in Seat­tle. He is the former editor of Chicago Review, and his writ­ing has appeared in Slate, Book­fo­rum, Nar­ra­tive, The Cul­tural Soci­ety, and Chicago Mag­a­zine, among other pub­li­ca­tions.
