On the Home Front With Palin’s Policies [UPDATED x 2]

From a questionnaire Sarah Palin answered in 2006 during her run for governor:

3. Will you support funding for abstinence-until-marriage education instead of for explicit sex-education programs, school-based clinics, and the distribution of contraceptives in schools?

SP: Yes, the explicit sex-ed programs will not find my support.

Whoops.

UPDATE [9/2]: To be fair, there’s also this, from a Politico story out today:

At one point, Palin supported mandatory education for teenagers about contraception…

UPDATE [9/3]: On the other other hand, there’s this, from the Washington Post yesterday:

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the Republican vice-presidential nominee who revealed Monday that her 17-year-old daughter is pregnant, earlier this year used her line-item veto to slash funding for a state program benefiting teen mothers in need of a place to live.
